AEM Perfumery

Day 1Posted at: 07:52 Had a short briefing on what is perfumery and what are we going to do for the next few days. Next, start smelling all differents types of fragrance. Since is the first day that we smell all these, it all smell like car tyres to me -.-   Just look at the amount of smelling strips we had to smell! We actually smell each and every one of them! After that, we did practical with our lecturer, Joseph Chan.Day 2 Theory lesson first. Started by learning the organic structures[for e.g, methane,ethane....] and build some of them ;D Isn't it cool?  Lunch ;D Followed by practical. We smell different fragrances, some were minty while others were floral. Created some perfume too but it is not suitable for applying on the skin. Day 3Did practical for the whole day with another lecturer, Ms Jessie. We created perfume for fine fragrance, body wash and air freshener.   Our bottles for fine fragrance ;DDay 4 Practical for the whole day ;] We continued on our air freshner and body wash. Started off with mixing gelatine and warm water...  The gelatine I was talking about...  And the outcome of mixing warm water and gelatine...Next add some colouring...  Pour into a container and leave it to cool.. and presenting JieTing and friends product ;DNext, the bodywash.... First, add the bodywash liquid and water...  Stir it, but not too vigourously if not.... bubbles will form and we will need to use a spatula and scoop the bubbles. Divide it into 3 beakers, add fragrance that we created the day before and do our evaluation. Finally, the product! We got to brought to bring back all our products ;D Day 5 Theory test first. Hard is all I can say. Went for practical. Task: To create a detergent. Started off with the process that we did for the body wash, it is all the same actually. Just that instead of adding body wash liquid, we add detergent... And our product with my team-mates:
